The slider tab contains parameters that affect the appearance of sliders that are shown to participants when taking a survey.

• Theme: Specifies a general appearance for sliders. The impact of the theme on the visual appearance of the slide can be seen in the Preview tab.

• Label font: Specifies the font, color, and size for the text shown for each item in the slider.

• Main color: Specifies the main color for the highlighting of the bar and of the drag handle for the slider.

• Show change buttons: Specifies if buttons labeled "+" and "-" are included at the extremities of the slider. If included, the buttons allow changing the selected value for the slider.

• Show drag handle: Specifies if the slide includes a handle that can be used to change the selected value through a drag and drop interaction.

• Orientation: Specifies if the slider should be shown horizontally or vertically.

• Direction: Specifies if the value for the slider should be ordered left-to-right (normal orientation) or right-to-left (reversed orientation)

• Scale highlight mode: Specifies how the labels shown in the scale highlight as a function of the selected value. The highlighting is shown by changing the color of the labels in the scale. This option applies to slider used to select a numeric value. It does not apply when the slider is used to select a discrete option (e.g., an answer in a multiple choice or matrix question).

None: The scale is not highlighted (i.e., the color of the labels in the scale remain unchanged) are always the same, independently of the value currently selected

Handle position: The label in scale corresponding to the selected value is highlighted.

Along with bar: All the labels in the scale from the lowest value to the currently selected value are highlighted.

• Suppress bar highlight: Specifies if the bar is highlighted

• Value tooltip position: Specifies if and where a tooltip is shown as the selected value is changed. This option applies to slider used to select a numeric. It does not apply when the slider is used to select a discrete option (e.g., an answer in a multiple choice or matrix question).
